The One Card from American Express allows consumers with excellent credit to set aside savings every time they use their credit card. The Savings Accelerator Plan rebate program allows cardholders to earn a cash rebate on all eligible purchases. Rebates are deposited into the customer’s FDIC-insured, high yield savings account. Customers will also receive a deposit after their first card purchase. Though there is no introductory offer, interests rates are reasonable for this card. American Express provides additional card benefits such as auto rental insurance, a purchase protection plan and up to $100,000 in travel accident insurance. Customers who are interested in setting aside savings will benefit most from carrying the One Card from American Express.
